obstetrics

First pregnancies are charged at £5,200 for women who book before 20 weeks.

Women had one or more babies before are charged £5,000.

For women who book after 20 weeks the charges will be reduced by 10-15 % depending on the care they need.

First obstetric consultations are charged £200 (45 minute-1 hour booking visit) and follow ups are charged £120.

Caesarean section only will be charged £2000.

The charges for obstetric care listed do not include blood tests, scans, hospital, paediatrician or anaesthetist.

For women booked under Miss Claussons obstetric care no charges will be made for telephone advice and follow up.

If the client delivers prematurely under another obstetrician's care a proportion of the fees will be charged, corresponding to the care provided by Miss Clausson.

Insurance companies may reimburse some fees, but clients must check with the company. The client deals with their insurance company. The client, not the insurance company, is responsible for paying fees.

Miss Clausson is on the GMC Specialist register and has Specialist Provider Recognition with most larger insurance companies (BUPA, AxaPPP, Allianz, Norwich Union etc).

gynaecology

First consultations are charged £200, follow ups are charged £120-£150. Follow ups by telephone or email are possible, and will incur minor charges.

For surgical procedures the BUPA scale for compensation applies. Insurance companies may reimburse charges, but clients must check with the company. The client deals with their insurance company. The client, not the insurance company, is responsible for paying charges.
